Hét Hat Club just released their second album WibbleWabble.

„The album name came from an old American children’s song. My father sing it and shake me on his lap. Wibble wabble, wibble wabble, jelly on the plate. Shake the child on your lap. And so it became a dance move. And to Wabble means to waiver, or be undecided about his statement. Which is fitting because the music is in a wobbly style with a mix of Balkan Hungarian hip-hop, we are really not sure what is the genre. Only thing we are sure about is the music is for dancing. The album took us longer than expected to complete. As we are dealing with so many genres and also combining old acoustic folk with electronic instruments it was a challenge to really find the sounds that complement  all the borrowed styles. I am really happy with my original lyrics in the deserted dunes song. I wanted to get a but more 80’s disko vibes in the song to reach its full glory, but we still pulled it off. For Álomhajó I had a big help from Bösze Tamas (Csangallo zenekar) and Melinda Balogh (Besh o Drom zenekar) the night before I was going to record. I still hadn’t completed the lyrics and Melinda found a poem by Juhász Magda and we switched it around to fit the rhythm of this song and I’m super happy with how it turned out. I had an intense time training to make sure I sang the Hungarian words with the correct rhythm, it’s very important the rhythm of how words are spoken in Hungarian as compared to English where we can say any word in any rhythm. We are making an artistic music video with super talented Brazilian director Marcio-Andre de Sousa Haz. Will take place all on the balconies of a building on Népszinhaz utca. Also we are working on a hip/cringe dance video with director Akos Vértes (Obadu) for the song Shake it with dance steps and twerking.”
